The Rivet Jean concept is simple. We created a premium 5-pocket jean based on the sizing and proportions of our best-selling Rivet Chino pant. If you take a 32 Rivet Chino, then you can confidently order a 32 Rivet Jean.
If you enjoy the Rivet Chino, then you're going to love these! It strikes a perfect balance between an athletic fit and a slim fit. Each pair is sewn from start to finish in Los Angeles, and we're using the best denim facility that we could find.
The Rivet Jean features bartacked seams, aged brass button front & button fly, front pocket rivets, and our signature rear pocket stitch detail.
For this launch project, we're offering 6 gorgeous selvedge denims, 2 rugged cotton twills, and one exceptional cotton tweed.
You can opt for a shorter inseam than our stock 36" length. We recommend ordering 0.5" longer than what you want to allow for shrinkage.
Vidalia 14oz Indigo Redline Selvedge
Vidalia Millis is the last remaining selvedge denim mill in the United States.. and they're making absolutely brilliant cloth on vintage Cone Mills machines. This 14oz denim has a perfect "All-American" weight, feel, and deep indigo color tone. It has a bold solid red selvedge ticker that's a great accent when cuffed.
Black 14oz Selvedge
Woven in Japan by Kuroki, this denim is black in the warp and natural in the weft - giving it a darker tone than the usual jean, but not an overall solid jet black color. It's very soft and comfortable, even before the first wash. It has a classic redline selvedge ticker.
Greyscale 12oz Selvedge
Grey denim is an exceptionally versatile color that's surprisingly hard to find. It goes with everything, and even matches back perfectly to indigo denim jackets. This medium weight greyscale has an awesome texture of charcoal yarns in the warp and oxford grey yarns in the weft. It has a solid chalk white selvedge ticker.
Heavyweight 22oz Indigo Selvedge
This is the heaviest denim that we've ever offered! Woven by Nihon Menpu in Japan, it has a thick hand and a dense dark indigo color. This will achieve an absolutely incredible fade with wash and wear. It has a redline selvedge ticker.
Olive 14oz Selvedge
Woven by Nihon Menpu in Japan, this has been our best-selling color for the Wilhelm chino. It's a strong medium-weight denim in a perfect shade of muted olive. It has a thin redline selvedge ticker.
Cream-Mint 10oz Selvedge
Woven by Yoshiwa in Japan, this soft and comfortable denim is a light cream color with a subtle mint green cast. It's about the weight of a typical chino, so it's on the lighter side for a jean. The color is really unique, and this will pair nicely with tailored jackets if you want to dress it up. It has a dotted red selvedge ticker.
Jungle Cloth 11oz Olive Twill
This archival cloth is a replica of the rugged cottons used for U.S. Navy deck jackets. It has an extremely tight vertical wale that gives it unmatched tensile strength and will yield an incredible fade with wash and wear. This cotton is heavyweight and crisp.. with a perfect drape. It's woven in Japan.
Heavyweight Tiger Twill
Weighing in at a sturdy 16oz and woven in Japan, this is one of the most dense and exceptional fabrics that we've ever offered in the Rivet Chino. It's a tri-color blend of indigo, black, and natural yarns... all mixed together in an intricate "tiger" blend. With a weight that exceeds most jeans, this is a perfect choice for an incredible cold weather pant.
Indigo Confetti 13oz Tweed
Woven in Japan by Yoshiwa, this is a blend of 80% cotton, 15% wool, and 5% polyester. The texture on this cloth is incredible! It matches a deep indigo ground to a bright assortment of multicolored flecks. The wool content gives this extra warmth, and the cotton keeps it breathable. It's fully machine washable.
